
What to know when you inquire.
Mountain Provisions is a small, boutique team, and every event we take on is thoughtfully designed from the ground up. We don’t use templates or one-size-fits-all menus. We meet with each client virtually to get to know you and understand your vision, and then Chef Em gets inspired and puts together a custom menu for your event. Every proposal is custom, and we put a lot of care, time, and behind-the-scenes work into creating something that fits your event, guest count, and vision.
Helpful things to know about our booking process:

Custom Proposals & Booking
Once we receive your inquiry, we’ll meet with you face-to-face (virtually) to chat about your event. Following the call, we will create a personalized proposal based on your event details, including Chef Em’s custom menu. To officially reserve your date, we require a signed contract and a 50% non-refundable deposit. Dates are not held without both.

Communication Matters
Because our proposals are custom and our calendar is limited, we kindly ask that you keep an eye on your inbox and aim to respond within one week of receiving your proposal—whether that’s to move forward, request adjustments, or let us know you need a bit more time. This helps us serve everyone well and manage our availability.

Guest Count & Planning
Final headcount and menu details are confirmed 6 weeks prior to your event. Small changes may be possible depending on timing, product availability, and staffing, but our events are intentionally capped to maintain quality and experience. In order to maintain the integrity and quality of the menu, we typically don't take weddings larger than 100 guests.

Menus & Sourcing
Menus are finalized 6 weeks prior to your event date. Our menus are driven by locally sourced, regenerative, and sustainable foods produced here in Montana, and surrounding regions. Small changes may occur based on availability.

Payments & Changes
Final payment is due one month before your event. Additional guests or last-minute requests may result in a post-event invoice. All deposits are non-refundable, including in the case of cancellation or date changes.

Dietary Needs & Restrictions
Dietary restrictions are always honored, and small menu adjustments may occur based on availability. Please let us know in advance if you have severe allergies or aversions.

PRICING
In-home Private Chef Experience
These dinners are thoughtfully curated by Chef Em and executed by the team in your home or vacation rental. Chef Em shares stories behind the plates and food from the heart. We arrive on-site to set up, set the stage (table), and bring you a carefully crafted meal beginning with 2-3 hors d'oeuvres, followed by a four-course meal at the table, and ending with a dessert to leave you dreaming. Pricing starts at $275/person for this experience. More elevated menus including higher ticket items range from $300-$350/person. For parties under 8ppl, we do reserve the right to charge a minimum for our services, starting at $350/person.
Meal Drop Off & Delivery
Do you and your guests want to sit back and enjoy your vacation without the stress of cooking? We provide seasonally driven, locally sourced, quality prepared meals to be delivered directly to you by Chef Em and the Mountain Provisions team! Meals typically include a salad, entree, and dessert, and pricing begins at $125 per person. This price factors in our preparation time and cost of goods. Deliveries outside of Bozeman typically start at $150 travel fee.
Farm + Ranch Dinners
(off-site experiences with limited amenities)
These dinners are thoughtfully organized by Chef Em + the venue host. Each dinner consists of a welcome bite, 4-course ranch/farm-to-table meal, and wonderful story telling behind the dishes and where the inspiration came from. Pricing for these dinners varies depending on location and head count.
